Dan DeLap

Dan DeLap joined Prairie Capital Advisors in 2017. He specializes in advising middle-market companies on mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”), capital formation and other investment banking transactions. Dan’s expertise includes involvement in every aspect of an M&A transaction from developing deal strategy to navigating his clients through all phases of the process to reach their unique objectives. He has worked with businesses in a wide variety of industries and has participated in numerous successfully closed transactions representing over $700 million in aggregate value. Dan has also written extensively about the food and beverage industry.

Prior to joining Prairie, Dan held Vice President and Associate roles at P&M Corporate Finance (PMCF) and D.A. Davidson & Co. where his primary duty was managing the entire sell-side and buy-side M&A deal process, including buyer preparation, business search and screening, due diligence and negotiation. He began his investment banking career at McGladrey Capital Markets performing financial analysis, valuation services and transaction execution support in a wide range of industries. Prior to working at McGladrey, Dan was an Aerospace Engineer for the Department of Defense where he provided in-service engineering solutions for a variety of U.S. Navy aircraft platforms.

Dan holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Dan currently holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 securities licenses.
