Michael Vann
Michael is a Principal with Eaton Square and the President of the Vann Group where he leads its strategic consulting and transactional advisory practice. Michael advises companies in a variety of industries including manufacturing, professional services, industrial services, insurance, financial services, construction, and food & hospitality.
For more than 20 years he has served as a trusted strategic and transactional advisor to the owners and leaders of privately held companies who value his practical and personable approach and his ability to simplify complex business issues into an actionable plan. His areas of expertise include strategic facilitation, succession/transition planning and both sell-side and buy-side transactions.
Michael is a Predictable Success Scale Architect and serves as an SME in succession/transition planning and M&A for the Edward Lowe Foundations System for Integrated Growth (SIG) program. He is the co-author of “Buying out the Boss: The Successors Guide to Succession Planning” which looks at succession and transition planning from the perspective of the internal acquirer. He is a frequent guest speaker on topics such as value building, succession/transition planning and mergers and acquisitions.
A graduate of George Mason University, he serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Resinate, Inc. and is a member of the Board of Trustees of Elm’s College, its Executive Committee and he chairs the Audit Committee. He previously served as First Vice Chairman of Alden Credit Union.
